Geothermal Well Drilling
Drilling is probably the biggest and most disruptive part of getting a geothermal system, and probably will create the most anxiety of the whole process. There is a big truck, lots of noise, and perhaps a lot of mud. But in the words of my inner four-year-old, "It rocked!" I'm not so sure others in my household agreed.
In the end, all was well. The drillers left the yard in good shape and I expect the grass will be fine once it gets warmer. The cats were a bit wigged for a few hours but they recovered.
